WINTER FUN
Enjoy our Festival of Lights on the First
Friday of December. It
has a craft show and horse-drawn wagon rides.
The Gallatin National Forest hosts many miles of groomed trails
for outdoor play: Bridger Bowl, Big Sky and Moonlight Basin ski
areas
are a short drive from Belgrade offering alpine skiing and snowboarding.
When the weather is cold enough, Belgrade hosts two ice skating
parks in town.
If you are getting out to beat “cabin fever” call
the Chamber for scheduled events like dance lessons, indoor cart
racing, horseback arena riding, or sharp shooting.
 SPRING
When the green appears the Cottonwood Hills Public Golf Course
hosts 27- hole golf and provides for great country views.
Customer Appreciation Day is the 3rd
weekend in April and Belgrade’s
Annual Easter Egg Hunt takes place at Lewis and Clark Park the
Saturday before Easter.
The Gallatin Valley boasts legendary
trout fishing. Access
to three blue ribbon trout streams will keep the serious angler
coming back for more.
Our backyard provides fantastic fishing opportunities
year-round.
 SUMMER ACTIVITIES
For a great gathering place check out
Lewis and Clark Park right near the Central Valley Fire District
Hall. This park offers
picnic venues, barbeque grills, a splash park and restroom facilities.
Belgrade has 6 Public Parks within its city limits.
Thrill seekers will enjoy the rafting action
of the Gallatin and Madison rivers just minutes from the Belgrade
area.
Belgrade is home to the Belgrade Bandits
and hosts several Baseball Events in the summer. Take “someone out to a Ballgame” and
visit the Legion
Baseball fields.
Hundreds of miles of national forest
trails await you. Yellowstone
National Park, America’s oldest, is just 90 miles south of
Belgrade. Experience the magic of this vast geological wonder. Mountaineering,
backpacking, biking and horseback riding are all available to the
outdoor enthusiast.
 FALL
As students start back to school
and fall begins the most favorite activity in Belgrade arrives – the
Belgrade Fall Festival. Usually held the third weekend of
September, sometimes in connection with the Belgrade High School
Homecoming, the Fall Festival is truly a small town event. It
offers a parade of nearly 100 floats, an arts and craft show in
Lewis and Clark Park, kids’ activities and a mouth-watering “open
pit” beef barbecue!
